I couldnt get my "usual" baits for our annual trip to lake erie. Well, I grabbed 2 packs of these on a whim. On the lake the guys made fun of me for using a "japanese" bait and called me various japanese names, just picking away at me. Well, in all honesty, within 2 hours both packs were gone because the smallies DESTROYED them. Everyone was asking me for baits to use but I was out.
The next trip up I took 10 packs and they barely lasted 2 days. The guys were actually getting mad at me because I was easily catching 10 fish to their 1 (not an exaggeration). No matter what they tried they couldnt get any bites and I would cast right were they did and catch a fish. It was truly like a fishing day that comes once in a lifetime, but it has happened every time I have used these. I really dont know whats so special about it vs other lures/baits but the smallmouth just cant get enough of it. I told my friends about it and they have all used it with the same success and we have also used it in countless streams in many different states. I even made a trip home to visit the New River and it was the same results. You cant beat the fish off of your hook with this and it doesnt matter how I have fished it. I have a caught a few fish here and there with others but the green pumpkin has been the real killer for me. They are expensive and you dont get very many in a pack, plus my experience with them being durable has been non-existant........but still worth every penny! Largemouth, rock bass, and even Pike have fallen pray to this little guy. Any fish in the neighborhood comes over and takes a bite. I have tried to keep this little guy a secret but alas, the secret is out.

this is one of my go to worms. It wprks at many of the lakes that I fish.

Fished lake erie with these on a drop shot and it was the only thing the smallies seem to like. Tried everything else but always went back to this bait. Turned out to be very durable as well.

The ones here don't look like the ones I bought at the Basspro Store. The tails are different. The ones I used look like the other crosstails.
Used them in Oneida L NY. The smallies like them fine.
