After a couple of very slow days on my lake I decided to do some drop shotting yesterday and gave the clone a try. While the price is bordering on ridiculous they look and feel incredibly life-like and respond with excellent action with the slightest twitch. First 3 casts = 3 rock bass...very unusual on the lake I fish. Things slowed down a little from there but you get the point. Another thing I liked was the very realistic looking eyes, didn't like that on the 3rd fish one eye fell out or got ripped out but haven't fished them enough to determine if this is a common issue. So while I only fished them for a few hours I was happy with the performance. Worth the price? I guess I would say yes because based on the durability I saw yesterday I dont think I will go through them too quickly and I fish every day.

I had a gift card, so I figured I would splurge on something I wouldn't normally buy. The Jackall clone fry looked amazing.
I took it to a local lake and began dropshotting it on one of the new VMC spinshot hooks. The action was great. I had read some reviews on another site and was worried about their durability. No worries! I landed 5 bass in the 2 & 3 lb class on one bait. And, it still looks brand new.
The best part, is this bait looks exactly like the shad in this lake. Same size and all. I had a couple people ask me if I was using live-bait it looked so good. If it was only a little cheaper, I would have given it 5 stars!
