The extension arm works great but when it is extended to full length, the handle is outside the boat. Anyone interested in an extension arm would be better off spending the extra few bucks and get the handle with the knuckle hinge. I'm not complaining on how well this handle works. It does well for what I need it for. I'm a big man and needed the extension so that I can sit on the middle seat and be able to see in front of me. For that purpose it works well but it would be better if I bought the extension with the knuckle.

This tiller handle with the knuckle works very well. It is easy to adjust and I can operate my kicker motor from the driver's seat.

I purchased this handle for a small 12ft jon boat to use on a 6 hp johnson motor. It works great as you can extend it if you want to set in the 2nd seat if you are fishing by yourself. The handle also has a universal joint you can use if you need to turn and control the motor from the back seat. I am very satisified with this product and would recommend it to anyone.

Thanks for having the Q&A area. I bought a tiller extension for a Honda 2hp last summer but the fit was too loose and the whole thing was pretty flimsy. My question will this one for sure fit the honda 2hp? It would be a hassle for us both if I had to return. I'm looking at the u-joint model.Thanks, Steve
