extension handle handle is well built and light. i got the extendable handle and it works just like i expected. good product. November 14, 2006
Very Proffessional People & Company I had a problem with it the first time I tried to use it. I called Bass Pro and they said I could just send it back for a replacement. I said I would like to talk to the factory as there may be a way I could fix the problem with out all the cost to everyone shipping it back and forth. I called the factory and after talking to them they said I wouldn't be able to fix it. They were so Proffessional and polite and thanked me for trying to fix it for them. They sent me a new one and even paid the shipping cost. Excellent experience with both companies and would certaintly buy again. August 30, 2010
Necessary Purchase The extension arm works great but when it is extended to full length, the handle is outside the boat. Anyone interested in an extension arm would be better off spending the extra few bucks and get the handle with the knuckle hinge. I'm not complaining on how well this handle works. It does well for what I need it for. I'm a big man and needed the extension so that I can sit on the middle seat and be able to see in front of me. For that purpose it works well but it would be better if I bought the extension with the knuckle. May 11, 2012
Helmsmate Dont know what I was thinking when I bought this but I needed to be able to steer and control the speed on my and operated trolling motor from a standing position. Took it out of the box only to realize that the u-joint would allow the handle to just flop down on the ground. No fault of the item itself just a serious oversight on by behalf. Fortunately I am fishing from the front of a pontoon boat so I can extend the handle and just lean it on the rail so its always right there. Very well made solid product. June 11, 2012

Thanks for having the Q&A area. I bought a tiller extension for a Honda 2hp last summer but the fit was too loose and the whole thing was pretty flimsy. My question will this one for sure fit the honda 2hp? It would be a hassle for us both if I had to return. I'm looking at the u-joint model.

Thanks, Steve

S is fixed length, B is telescopic (adjustable length), U is telescopic with swivel joint. Up to 3ft length you can go with straight tiller (no swivel).
