Finally I've found a pair of boot that do what boots should do without spending a more that I should. Three day on the ice with cold feet is a first for me. The boots are comfortable and easy to walk in unlike the last pair I had that were more like moon boots than anything else.
Huge fan of these boots

1. This is the only boot from a quality manufacturer I could find, in this price range, that can be re-soled. 2. Quality and craftsmanship is excellent, no issues with tears, broken eyelets, shoestrings etc.. 3. Comfort is very good, tried on at least 8 other models from various companies before settling on these. Much better than cheaper boots, better than more expensive boots. One day to break-in. 4. Last day of hunt was 5* F with 8-10" of snow, kept feet warm all day. Sock are just as important, I wore med-heavy wool and liners. 5. For me they are true to fit, based on reviews I got half size larger and it was'nt necessary. Bottom line: BUY THESE and quit looking!

Very well made boot that was comfortable to wear the first time I laced them up. Very warm on a deer stand. Im glad the boots have a replacable goodyear sole. I am tired of replacing boots with good uppers but have the new nonreplaceable urethane soles that have disintegrated. This has happened to me with boots from several other brands especially Rocky. I expect these Irish Setter boots to be servicable for years to come. The insulation is thick so I would purchase the wide width so you can wear thicker socks when it is especially cold outside.

Boots ok, comfortable. Not real stiff easy break in. Just not real happy with them being imported. Will go with Danner next time as they are the only USA made hunting boot I can find on the market. Other than that boots are a good value for the money...

It provides excellent support. Has a 10" upper, leather construction with fabric on the side. I hiked some steep hillsides w/o trails, rugged terrain. Had total confidence in the boot.A:
The Irish setters are light and have awesome traction. I found the rockies to be heavy and uncomfortable.A:

i would recommend it!A:
It has good ankle support. I walk over logging debris weekly, and had these boots for almost a year and have yet to twist a ankle. Very grippy boot. I'm actually very impressed at the trend on the boot and how well it grips.Answers

The upper material is not leather, it is sum sort of cloth but it is defently warm and waterproof1 of 1
