With its two cup holders, built-in backrest, and mesh bottom, the River Run I from Intex® is a great float tube or pool lounge. This durable 53'' tube is constructed of 18 gauge vinyl and features two air chambers. Mesh bottom allows water to pass through to help keep you cool as you lay back and enjoy the built-in backrest and two cup holders. Features two heavy duty handles and all-around grab rope. Color: Blue and white. Imported.
We have enjoyed the new tubes and think they are very sturdy. I also purchased a floating cooler and automatic inflation system which plugs into the car lighter. These items make the whole process a breeze and enhances the experience for sure!
An interesting couple of features I didn't see mentioned were the inflation/ deflation valve and the webbing in the seat of the tube. The valve is two part, allowing for quick inflation without leaking air- this is within a larger deflation valve which is easily unscrewed to let air out quickly. With my new pump it takes about a minute to fully inflate and 20 seconds to deflate the main chamber. The webbing is an iteresting feature which gives some measure of protection from abrasions generally encountered when passing over barely submerged river rock. It also keeps empty cans and sunscreen in your (ahem) cockpit.
Enjoy these tubes- they are a great value!

So-so tube for rivers
Great tube if you don't encounter any rocky bottoms or hit any rocks while river tubing, the vinyl is too thin and punctures easy on Colorado river rocks, would be great if they sold a canvas cover for this product. Love the back rest and cup holders though!

Very Good Value
We used three River Run tubes this past weekend on a camping trip to Arkansas. All three worked great with no problems of any kind. Great value for a float trip down a small stream.
