5 year old son loves these! We also purchased the campfire and lantern... he pretends that he's camping in his room. I can see this being enjoyed all year long, too!

My daughter has the set of four toys from this line as a birthday present. Of the four, this was the only one that didn't really seem to fit her age, although we *absolutely* had to have a hot dog and marshmallow roast with her cat and some of her stuffed animals. It would more likely be a best fit for ages 3 to 7, but my 8yo is enjoying it, too. It's very simple to put the hot dogs or the marshmallows onto the sticks, even in the low light of the "campfire" toy.
