Rated 5 out of 5 by KimT 5 year old LOVES it! We bought this, and the roasting sticks and lantern for our 5 year old's birthday. He absolutely LOVES it! It has sparked his imagination and he pretends that he's camping in his room. It's a little loud, from the fan blowing the flame up, but tolerable. Very happy with this purchase-- I can see him playing with it all summer and winter too! August 6, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sophi Around the Campfire We bought this with some other toys from the same line for our little girl's 8th birthday. She (and we) love it. She had a "marshmallow roast" with me, one of our cats, and several stuffed animals tonight, followed by a singalong that lasted until our voices gave out. The "campfire" seems to be quite energy-efficient and works very well. The glowing embers effect is charming. The only adjustment I would make is the addition of a *slightly* higher amp fan, because the one that is in the logs doesn't quite move the fabric flames well enough. We loved this and will use it a lot. It would be great for either gender, and encourages creative play. Would also be a fabulous rainy day toy. June 16, 2012
