I was unsure whether this mineral would work. You see them on TV and wonder if they really work as good as they say. I put this out at an old feeding location that has been dormant for over a year. The deer frequent this area so I figured why not. It says put out 5#'s and come back. Yeah right! I dumped the whole bag. I came back in a week just to check and see if they had messed with it yet. Man was I surprised, they had dug up the ground like wild hogs. I was amazed. Going to get a few more bags real soon and so is my neighboring farm. I see they eat it, now does it work is to be seen.

Great stuff! I put this out in salt licks begining in July and now have 13 bucks coming in to it documented in trail camera photos. I wish I would have started using it sooner!

Rated 5 out of 5 Excellent for healthier deer
Mineral sites are for spring and summer. Females tend to hit the sites hard in he spring during the fawning period and the bucks will hit them hard in the summer time. Each will use these sites year round but spring and summer is when they are very active. This product contains protien, zinc, copper, and magnese which are essentail nutrients during the summer antler growing season. I have used plain jane salt licks in the past and they work as well but this product is loaded with the essential nutrients for an overall healthier deer heard. I wish i had a photo to upload so people could see the holes that the deer have dug out to reach the minerals soaked into the ground. If this product does not work for you during the spring and summer i would suggest that your site location is off before bashing the product.

I put out deer cocaine and it killed the area where I put it out. So I would imagine the same for this.

Yes it would, because this will soak into the soil and over time the deer will dig and paw at it to lick at the minerals. This product is not made to be spread or broadcasted over a food plot. Simply find a flat level spot of ground and dump all of the contents into one spot. Natural moisture will cause it to soak into the ground and deer will literally dig holes at it. I would put it out in some woods next to your food plot or 5-10 yards off of a trail that leads to your food plot. Also be aware that this product is used by deer mostly in the spring and summer months.1 of 1
