it took me a few years to discover the hoo la hood but it's now my favorite ilander and probably my favorite ballyhoo rig. the nose design keeps the ballyhoo fresh and swimming perfectly either on wire or mono.
I've found it extremely effective on wahoo and dolphin.

The online illustration shows mylar strips running the length of the lure behind the head. I believe that Iland refers to this model as the "Flash" series. Do the Hoo-la Hoods that Bass Pro sells have those mylar strips?

Yes, these are model ILHH920. The mylar strips are included in the colors as illustrated in the 2nd picture (color chart).1 of 1
