Rated 5 out of 5 by Last Auger I bought this auger for this past ice season and I don't think I will ever have to buy another one. It was a little more than I had planned on spending, but I figured I would save over the years on what I would not have to buy. It does everything it advertises-light,quiet, no mess on hands or sled, no diaphrams to dry rot and easy storage. I was on the lake one Sunday and had cut my holes and was fishing, and a guy came out after me with his two sons about 12 and probably 16 or 17. He drilled two holes with his gas auger and then it died. I brought my Ion over and let him use it and his son cut 30+ holes and was amazed. I was amazed and still am! Can't wait til next year!!
