Hyskore DLX Precision Rifle Shooting Rest
I can get better accuaracy with a pair of shooting sticks. I followed the poor setup directions to the letter. My bench is 8x8 legs, in the ground about 16 inches, with a 2x6 solid top. Even after bolting the Hyskore Rest to the table, it will not return to the same position after a shot. It is all over the place due entirely to poor machine tolerances on bolt holes, bolts, connectors, and adjustment screws. Simply touching any part of the rest other than the base will allow the crosshairs to travel on the target. I called the company only to get a lecture about how no one else was having this problem. From reading the reviews on their $250 rest, I'd say there are some issues! As stated, absolute junk. By you a Caldwell or other quality rest and move on.

Not Completely Useless
I took it out for the first time and wasn't very impressed. It takes a long time to set up and can be very akward when trying to shoot and stay "out of the way". It does come with a DVD that helps a lot with set up and how to shoot with it. I learned to just use mine like a rest and forget about the butt holder on the back, (it works a lot better this way). My groups did improve a little, but of course the recoil was the same (which I don't mind for most rifles). I also am probably giving it a higher rating as it was a gift, but it's something I probably would have bought myself although I wouldn't have spent this much money on it. It also makes a great rest for cleaning your rifles, but of course it's an expensive one at that.

Works pretty good
I bought this rest to help sight in a couple 50 cal muzzle loading rifles and it did a nice job handling the recoil and holding the guns so I could adjust the scope reticles to the point of impact. Set up wasn't that bad. I didn't build a stand, just used the front brace on the edge of the table at the shooting range and it prevented it from moving backwards at all. I can't say how it would work with repeat shots that didn't involve me moving the gun as I had to take it out of the stand after each shot since I was shooting muzzle loaders. I doubt it would go back to exact same spot after the shot. As other reviews stated, there is substantial play in the adjustment screws, etc that allow some slop but I was able to get it back on target and hold it there for each shot. Hydraulic damper system really worked well. All in all it worked well, albeit not perfectly but try to get it on sale to make it worth it.
