it came up within 4 days and looks great and it contains turnips and deer love them and will dig them up during the winter

This plot mixed shot up very well in solid oak timber. After clearing a few dead trees and just raking the ground clear and hand spreading the seed, It has performed with ease and after only two weeks is already 10-12 inches tall.

I believe you will have the best results if you are able to broadcast the seed on a firm all soil seedbed. I till the ground and after it compacts for a couple weeks, I fertilize and plant. I like to do it when rain is soon expected.1 of 1
