This kit is worthless. The plaque is pressboard, the antler covering is a thin felt over plastic. I have used many other brands of mounting kits and this is the worst I have ever seen. You will not be happy with the purchase of this kit.

Overall the plaque was nice and the mounting instructions and hardware was easy to use. However, the covering that goes over the skull is very hard to work with to make it fit. I ruined one of the covers trying to get the antlers to fit right.

Do not waste your money buying this product. Very dissapointed in it. Spend the extra 20-30 bucks and get a better one. The plaque looks decent and directions are easy to follow but the red cover you put over the antlers is so cheap! Its a plastic cover that you have to cut with scissors to fit your antlers. I killed a 3x3 blacktail and the cover was not even wide enough to fit over that, I don't know how it would ever fit a mule deer or whitetail. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone!
