Good mount. Real wood. Turkey is etched in, not a sticker. Very pleased. Several mounting options for beard, feet, spurs, etc.

I purchased four of these kits for turkey fan mounts. They really are a nice kit and they present your trophy nicely. The only issue I had with them is the screws that come with the kit to mount the plate on the back are really cheap screws. If you do not enlarge the pre-drilled holes, the furnished screws will snap off every time. At this price I would expect a better quality screw. With that being said, all else is really nice. Will make a nice addition to your trophy room.

I just recently got this mounting kit and I love it but i was wondering how you put the fan on there. I don't know if you are supposed to tack it on there on not.Answers
A:Â
CUT THE FAN AT BASE OF FEATHERS....LEAVE SOME SKIN........SALT MEAT.....TACK ON A FLATBOARD FULLY OPEN AND LET CURE.....NEXT AFFIX THE FAN BETWEEN THE TWO BOARDS.........

Remove the cover. Place the fan on the mount and drive the screw directly through the front of the fan into the top pre-drilled hole. I mounted a large tom so the screw supplied with the kit wasn't long enough. I replaced it with a screw that was about 1-1/2-inches long and it worked perfect. Finally, reattach the cover with the two screws provided. Hope this helps...1 of 1
