Rated 5 out of 5Â by GeorgiaJJ Great for pulling up hill
I used the pulleys to help drag a deer up 60 feet of elevation, by myself. Tied off one end to a tree and then pulled the other end with much less effort than a straight drag. Need to re-set every so many yards, and you need a longer rope than supplied, but the pulley system worked great!

We hang this lift in a tree at camp every year and hook it up to a 4 wheeler to lift deer with no more just throwing a rope over a limb and pulling deer up

This deer hoist is a quality product, better than others I have seen a about the same price. The 4:1 ratio still requires some effort to lift a heavy load, but does the job.

I was impressed at the quality, especially for the price. I should have been using one of these long ago. Very simple to hook up. One man operation is a breeze. I expected that cheap poly rope and was pleasantly surprised to find quality nylon. Solid components. Lifted the deer out of my pickup bed and had him hung in seconds. Easy to raise and lower so you can work without bending or reaching. If you want to work smarter not harder, this is your deal! It's a steal right now, too!
