Rated 5 out of 5Â by Rjwise0815 A plus product!!!
Very easy to set up. No fumbling with the strap buckle. Very quiet. Very secure to the tree. Enough rope to go around the tree twice for extra security when locking in at the top of the tree. Plus saves time climbing up and down the tree.

This does not take place of the harness. It takes the place of the strap that goes around the tree. By replacing the strap with the rope, you get more distance from the tree if you want to be able to move around a bit more. Also, if you have a stand that faces away from the tree, this strap is a must.Answers

I would venture to guess that it is the same as the lifeline. 400lbsQ:Â

Does the Hunter Safety System® Reversible Vest/Harness HHS-4 includeHunter Safety System® Rope-Style Tree Straps

I've seen various models of the vest and none that I'm aware of include the rope style tree strap as a standard feature. Some new vests do now include the linemans climbing belt which is very useful for installing stands and tree steps.Answers

Not quite sure off the top of my head on the length.I'm 6'2" and i can put as high as i can reach and still have some play. Rope can fit around just about any size tree. The sliding prussic not makes it very multi dimensional.A:Â
I have mine packed away for hunting and haven't measured it...but the rope is approximately 8 feet long with a loop at the bottom end to insure that the knot stays on the rope. The amount of free hanging rope will depend on the diameter of the tree trunk/limb.1 of 1
