I received this for Christmas and was able to use it for over a month. It is extremely easy to put on, very comfortable while sitting, and has several little pockets to put things you might need while hunting. I also like the straps that you can connect a range finder or binoculars to. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Just recently purchased the 2012 Pro Series to replace an older model Pro Series HSS. Miss having the second chest buckle, just feel a little more secure with it. Not to crazy about the leg buckles, prefer the car seat push button type buckle. Is much much lighter than my older model. Like the zipper pocket over the velcro, quieter. Would prefer a top rather than a side zipper, side zipper too easy for stuff to fall out. Like the accessory straps/clips for binos. Like the extra 2 pockets over older models 6 pockets. Like doing away with the plastic deer drag, older model clanged on my climber when back packed. Overall, even with my little quirks, it's still the best harness on the market. Good Job. I am 70 years young and still feel confident to use climbers thanks to this product. I don't especially like the tree strap which comes with it and I actually use the safety rope from a seat of the pants harness to connect vest to tree because it is much easier and faster to slide up and down the tree.

If you hunt from a treestand of any kind this vest is a great investment, no I haven’t fallen in mine and I hope I don’t but it’s easy to put on and take off and the peace of mind that you and your family have knowing you are using one far exceeds the cost of the vest itself

I haven't actually weighed the vest, but I would say it is around 3-5 pounds at the most. Once I put it on, it doesn't feel heavy. The only reason it weighs that much is the quick connect buckles.A:
Not too sure, but I don't even notice it on when in stand or walking to/from stand.I would guess 5-7 lbs but unlike my safety harness at work this one is very comfortable!

I wear a s/m over regular hunting clothes. 170 lb. 36 waist 5-6. Wear insulated clothes over the vest. A L/XL will be too big as I tried one.

I am 6ft, 215lbs and the large is plenty big on me. That being said I would think that a S/M would be fine at 160 lbs. The HSS Pro is very adjustable.

A small/medium fit should work better than sizing up. This will give you plenty of room to function and should still be below the 175 pound range.1 of 1
