I purchased this safety harness because I hate dealing with the one's that come included with tree stands. Yeah sure they work, but have you ever tried putting one on next to your truck in a bean field on a pitch black rainy morning? This harness takes no time to put on, even in the dark and rain! I've walked in and out probably 2 - 2.5 miles while wearing it so far and it does add just a touch of warmth to the walk in, but the weight is worth the extras. I especially like the hand warmer pockets, and the other pockets for that matter. I sat in my ladder stand for 6 hours opening day and was still comfortable and quiet. I would buy it again for sure.

HSS is the standard on harnesses. I saw this Hybrid harness months ago and have been eyeing it up. Got it on sale which was a huge plus.
I like the minimalistic profile of it for weight, bulkiness, and sweat factor. While it also provides a nice array of pockets to carry all my necessary things at a moments reach.
Main gripe is that the sizing on the packaging is confusing. Im 5'9 180 lbs 33 inch waist. It makes it hard to match up sizes. I wanted a LG/XL to be safe at first, but the store only had SM/MD at the time so I bought that. I tried it on and it fit but at basically the max on the adjustments. I returned that and got the LG/XL and am now worried it will be a little too loose and excess on the straps.
