I put the product out as instructed and near my feeder so there was no doubt they'd find it and they ignore it.

We have been giving it to our fawn sence we got him at 1 month old . He eats the durt a lot better with the vit a rack 26 mixed in it, and it is very inportant for deer to eat dirt to help with their rumen.
The extra vitamins is just a bounes to help the deer grow, and like it says he has not had a tick on him in two months.
The fawn likes it and it keeps ticks off of him ,I am putting out a bag for the grown bucks tomorrow.

this product seems similar to deer cane, which requires added water. does this need added water and does this work better than deer cane, because deer cane doesn't work that good.

NO! Use it right out of the bag and thats it.

Granular mix can be poured onto the ground or fed in a trough. No water•pour 3/4 of a 5-lbs bag into the indentation and mix into the ground, pouring the remainder of the bag on top of the ground
•when deer find your site they'll visit it repeatedly so we recommend you refresh the site every other month
•to refresh, pour a 5-lbs bag of Vita-Rack 26® on an existing lick-site and mix into the ground
