It is not wood . the wood look is a plastic decal that you cant see while it is in the package ( low quality simulated plastic I think) . It would be perfect to mount a plastic Turkey on. Last HS product I will ever buy. I put it in the trash not worth the fuel to return it, One star is to high a rating

The instructions didn't help at all. Just a couple pictures that in all actuality leave out a couple steps IMO. It's not that hard to figure out how to put it together if you've got a little ingenuity though. It's good, quality, stuff though. I just recommend planing out how you're going to put it together before you begin putting it together.
