Humminbird Transducer Extension Cable
After reading the posted review I have to admit I was a bit skeptical, could it really be that bad? It is!! I went tot he trouble to call Humminbird and inquire as to the nature of my problem, the extension would not come apart. I've had a couple of dealings with Humminbird I the past, not all unpleasant. But this one was truly the exception. After describing my problem the information I received from Humminbird was that they make their connectors tight to prevent unwanted material from getting in. They know of no problem relating to the connectors, maybe they should try to use their own product. As with the other reviewer, I'm about finished with Humminbird.

Needed for my pontoon boat to get transducer to back of boat and worked for that, UNTIL I had to replace the transducer. Why in the world would they not make this device where you can plug in and unplug it later?? NOOOO, you replace the transducer - go ahead and buy another one of these too. You'll never get it unplugged. Also, found that the connections corroded badly, even though I used dielectric grease and wrapped connection heavily in electric tape to protect it. Really Hummingbird!! I used to love your stuff until now!
