I am tring to have the capability of moving my 587ci to two different locations. Is this a Y cable that will split my transducer so I would not have to have two transducers on the back of my boat. Then I can just get two extentions to my locations of my units. Would that be the easyest way? I can't put one on the trolling motor becouse when it turns in circles it cuts the wire. Unless I'm doing it wrong. Thanks.

This Y cable is for using a side imaging transducer and a 2d transducer on 1 display. More or less to have depth readings at speed.
