I purchased the interlink to connect the 797 side imaging unit with a newly purchased 595c. Let me save you the trouble of hooking the product up, only to discover the two or not compatable. Humminbird's advertisment is too vague and inadequate with product descriptions. Their customer service only offered an apology and a way to upgrade the interlink for more money. Former loyal customer for 12 yrs. Thx.

I have a locator on my console and one on the bow of the boat. I have a GPS receiver and the weather unit on the console. Both locators are hooked to the GPS and weather unit with long Humminbird cables and Y connectors. Will my current wires work or will they have to be an ethernet type cable?Answers

Accessories would be either a Y Cable item number 38-534-393-00 model AS YC or an Extension Cable model AS EC10 (through Humminbird). Thankshttp://store.humminbird.com/media/d...

I have two Humminbird units, a 767 and a 797 SI. I have one navionics chip, and I wondered if I needed two to share waypoints and maps. Or, would this Interlink allow me to use only one chip, and have maps loaded and share waypoints between my two units?Answers
