This is by far the best unit for the price. Down imaging, 50 channel gps, 500 watt rms and 640x480 display. You won't find a better unit for 450 smackers. The unit works flawlessly and I am very happy to have it as my second finder up front of my boat.

Will this unit share sonar information with another unit? I am looking to have a unit at the helm with another at the bow. Since dual transducers cause interference, a transom mounted transducer that can be shared with two displays would be great.Answers

Down Imaging sonar from a Down Imaging unit will not share with a standard sonar unit: Example: 788ci HD DI with a 788ci HD. It will NOT even share standard 2D sonar.Down Imaging sonar from a Down Imaging unit will not share with a Side Imaging unit: Example: 788ci HD DI with a 1198c SI. It will NOT even share standard 2D sonar.
Down Imaging sonar from a Down Imaging unit will share Down Imaging sonar with another Down Imaging unit. Example: 788ci HD DI will share with another 788ci HD DI.

This unit will come with a transom mount transducer.Trolling motor mounting brackets can be purchased separately to attach the transducer to the trolling motor.
