Really had my doubts about portable units...this one changed my mind. Very good screen with lots of features. Used it several times and have never been disappointed thus far.
Telescoping feature of the transducer makes it versatile in many situations.

I tried my new Fishin' Buddy the other day while using my float tube and was VERY impressed. The features works perfectly as described. The screen was easy to read, even on a very sunny day. The underwater images (in color) looked great on the graph and really gave me a new perspective of a lake that I have bank fished many times before! As an aside, I purchased the Hummingbird float tube fishfinder holder which fit snugly and held the unit in place for easy use. THIS UNIT IS A GREAT PRODUCT AND A GREAT BUY...PERIOD!!

Bought this last Bass Season.. Figured I'll review it after I used it for a full season on my local lakes. This thing performed very well.
I showed me Depths, Tempuratures, Fish, as well as Structures underneath the water.
I have to say this past Bass Season was my best thus far and I am not sure if I would have perfomed as good as I did without this handy device.

This fish finder is pretty decent, although it does not have the greatest power output, it still returns me with fairly accurate results. I like the color display and vice grip design

Picture shows 120 head. Is the only difference the shaft length or does the 140 come with a deferent head than what is shown in the picture? I want the better model head but only need a short shaft so I don't need to pay extra if shaft length is the only difference.Answers

Same style of head but the 140c is the color unit and 120 is not color.Details:Â
I recently bought a 9' Pond Prowler, which is plastic. When I put this fish finder on the side of the boat, it indented the plastic and made the unit go in at an angle into the water. Is there some type of bracket that can be used to make the side of the boat stronger, so this unit doesn't make scratches, etc. on the side of the boat?Answers
