I like this unit very much. Who could ask for any thing more? This gives me water temp, depth, contours etc. I can even program it to weed out small fish. I love that it tells me the depth of the fish also.
The only draw back is that the C clamp fell apart on the second day that I used it.. The plunger end came off so I used a wooden shim so it wouldn't mark the boat and made it hold better.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by mrfish73 Good depth bad bracket
The bracket did not fit on my boat so we tied it on to the side of.the boat. The depth finder was very accurate as we needed it to be while drifting in the shallows so we would not get stuck overall good product just need a wider bracket

The product got to me on time as promised. I have been well satisfied with the fish finder so far. In looking back, I wish I had chosen the 120 or the 130, it was kind of hard in the pictures and info to determine the difference between them. I would have preferred one with side view but this one works fine. I will up grade to one of the others next time.
The follow up and tracking was great. I did enjoy being able to look on line and make the purchase that way.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by OkieTuber Great Product-- Needs Custom Harness
The Humminbird Fishin Buddy portable depth finder has been a great addition to my float tubing setup. It's simple and "bare bones," but gives me all the basic info. I need when I'm on the water.
The only problem I had was with the available Humminbird float tube harness. When I used it, the tube would "wiggle" side to side based on the strap design. And it would only mount near the front of the tube- directly in my way for casting and kicking-- NOT GOOD!
So I made my own harness (see attached) that hooks right on to my BPS White River Fly Shop Lost Lake Float Tube. That makes it much more stable, and it's easy to disconnect for transporting and storing my tube.
Now that I've made the modifications, I hope to enjoy my Fishin Buddy depth finder for a long time to come!

When running full speed, will the unit tilt out of the water or do you have to unclamp the whole thing?Answers
A:Â
No, you will want to remove the Fishin´ Buddy® from the mounting bracket support arm ring when the boat is traveling. Use the Fishin´ Buddy® at trolling speed only. Traveling at high speed with the Fishin´ Buddy® attached can cause damage to this device. Thanks!

Yes, this will show details of the bottom surfaces. However, underwater conditions vary greatly, so some experience and interpretation is needed to realize all the benefits of the Fishin’ Buddy.http://store.humminbird.com/media/d...
