Just loaded my Lund Pro Angler in 3 and 4 ft waves and 20mph winds with no problem. I installed mine in about an hour on a Shorelander trailer. The directions were very good and everything fit fine. These guides REALLY work and are one of the best products Ive added to my boat. Takes the work out of loading in windy conditions, no more wrestling trying to slide it to get it centered. Seems very sturdy. Now I can load by myself with no problems

Bought two pr of these for our boats. Kit is well made and thought out. The options of angling the guides in or out is great for different hull shapes.

I bought these 2 years ago. Both cap ends fell off after a few months and now one of the bases is so rusted that it needs to be replaced altogether. I'm calling the manufacturer tomorrow. Let's see what they say.....

Once on the trailer an O.K. product, however install is not something to be done away from your shop. I was forced to trailer my boat home to complete the installation.
The self locking nuts provided should be thrown out and replaced. I destroyed a 3/8 inch ratchet trying to install this at the lake. Once back at home a 1/2 inch impact driver was needed to install the brackets, and still broke one of the u bolts.
To bad spending almost $100 on a product keeps the makers from spending another 2 bucks on decent hardware

Yes I was suprised how strong they are and how easy it was to install. My trailer is from Skeeter and i have step plates on both sides so all i did is drill holes and put the 7 degree angle pad on and screwed it down.A:Â
Yes, although steel tubing can be bent I think if hit to fast or hard by bow.1 of 1
