These are very good at keeping the fingers warm. I have found that mittens over gloves with a hand warmer inside is the best way to keep warm. These have built in glove liner so your fingers are still covered when you stick them out of the mittens. One thing I found out was the pouch isn't the best place for the warmer, there is just too much material between the warmer and your fingers. There is an inner flap inside the mitten and putting the heater right behind the flap holds it in place and allows it to keep your fingers warm without being too hot.

I bought these gloves expressly for a MN hunt. I wanted to make sure that I stayed warm in that frigid state. I got lucky in that the weather was relatively mild. Even so, my fingers were cold the entire time. I used the hand warmer inserts which kept my palms warm but my fingers and thumb were still cold when sitting still in a tree stand. I returned my gloves. The mfg needs to redesign this glove. Perhaps a gortex liner to protect against wind and a bigger overlap of the mitten would fix. As is, I do not recommend this glove.
