Great product!! This product is very easy to use and without any extra tooling just pour directly into mold when lead is melted. The end product looks just like store bought sinkers but be sure to be outside with plenty of fresh air. June 6, 2013
Bad item Reading reviews bought this product disappointed.Does not melt in general. More than two hours stood included. August 31, 2013
Hot Pot II Led Melting Pot If you are looking for a Led Melting Pot for small runs, under 100 sinkers, this is the one. I made over 100 sinkers using two small molds in under an hour. The led I used was melted down from old military rounds that I dug up at a target range about 25 years ago. Don't ask me why I hung on to the led for so long, but it worked out, A friend of mine has some old led bars he is giving me that we used in an old race car, so looks like I will be making some more runs. Nice small Led Melting Pot. Keep on Fishing,,, DL May 2, 2011
WORKS GREAT The HOT POT 2 is great for casting jig heads. The pour spouts on both sides make easy pouring into the mold for "rightys" or "leftys". FYI: My melting pot came with a pair of pliers for cutting the spurs off even though it did not say "pliers included". I can not say if all HOT POT 2 come with pliers, so you might want to buy them any way. Having an extra pair isn't a bad thing but its up to you. February 28, 2011

usually it's the impurities in the lead that burn. i just scoop out whatever floats to the top. this helps to keep the pot clean.
