Bad News: I purchased these to compliment the weight-forward bolts that came with my Horton Botherhood crossbow. Unfortunately, even though they should shoot the same, they do not. In fact, at twenty yards these bolts hit four inches away from the grouping that the original Horton W-F bolts were making.
Good News: Once I stopped using the original bolts and went over to these bolts only, my groups were scary-close, to the point where they skinning each other! Rather than risk Robin Hooding and destroying two ten-dollar bolts I started shooting only one bolt per target.
These bolts are the weight-forward design that is supposed to make them more stable in flight, plus each box of bolts are weight-matched for better accuracy. I believe it!
Lesson: Don't mix and match bolts. You get six in a box so only use these bolts while practicing and hunting so that your strike point remains constant.

This crossbow is awesome, it really is a professional type crossbow, I have never used one before so learning everythings was exciting and new-but have been an avid hunter for 30+ years, it was easy to handle and have even shot a doe on my first bow hunting outing. I would recommend this crossbow and have!!
