I think hornaday xtp bullets are as advertised accurate and deadly the hogs I have shot with them have been DRT. you can't beat them for the price why would you buy a high dollar bullet wen you don't need to

i used these to develop loads in my .357 rifle before switching to copper for hunting. holds same point of impact as barnes but steats deeper due to over all length.

I have been loading The excellent XTP hollow points in my .357 Magnum handloads for many years. I have a 4" barreled Colt that loves the 125gr, and a 6.5" barreled Ruger that thrives on the 158gr weights. I have used both the .40 cal 180gr and 200gr weights making serious loads for my Glock 22. I have yet to get to the bench to load the .44cal 240gr XTP's, but my plan is to load them to two different power levels in .44mag cases. I expect good results with an 1100fps load for a snub-nose revolver as well as with a 1400fps load for a 7.5" Ruger Redhawk. XTP's have never let me down in any caliber or weight.
