Shell holders are like water. If you hand load, you need them to survive. If they break or do not work, you are stuck. With that said, when it comes to quality Hornady wrote the book on it.
I have used Hornady products for years. I started using their brand of shell holders around the same time. I load some magnum rifle calibers and when using other shell holders, I have had cases not hold as tight in the holder as they do with Hornady shell holders. This causes stuck cases, damaged dies and damaged cases. Some of my wildcat cases cost the same if not more than a die does. Ruining a case will ruin your day. Having a shell holder that holds up to anything is very comforting.
This will fit in just about any single stage press you can find.
If your just starting out hand loading or looking to upgrade, give these a shot. You wont be disappointed.

As you would expect from Hornady the quality is there and it does what it is supposed to do. I just wish Bass Pro would stock a wider range of Hornady products.
