Hornady Series I 2-Die Rifle Sets
Purchaced these to load for a 25-06 Remington and Wow nothing but problems. i've been reloading for just over 20 years and have never seen a seating die do to a bullet what these dies do. i purchased new winchester cases, checked them all chamfer and debured due to the fact that i am loading hornady 100 grain sp bullets which is a flat based bullet. loaded the 1st round and the seating die put a visible line around the entire bullet. the 2nd round the die stretched the bullet 1/16 on an inch. maybe a fluke so i loaded 20 rounds total and out of the 20, 5 are stretched from 1/16 to 3/32 of an inch and every bullet has a visible indentation. im sending these back and buying RCBS die they are dependable and reliable.
Thanks for reading and i hope this helps.

A little different from the Lyman dies I was using. I don't care for the rubber gasket on the locking ring of the seating die. Something more positive than rubber would be better.
Make sure you lube your rimless cases both inside and out before running them through the decapping and sizing die. These dies are a replacement for a 30.06 Lyman die that I got a case jamed in the sizing die.

Best dies ever
There are rifle dies, then there are Hornady Rifle dies. If Hornady makes dies for a caliber I load for, I own them. Quality, price and toughness are major selling points for these dies.
Hornady dies are the cleanest dies out of the box. A lot of brands require major cleaning of factory grease and oil before use. This is not the case with Hornady dies. They are lightly oiled ad very clean. I am very impressed with the cases these dies come with. They are very stack able and hold everything very nicely. Shell holder, dies, extra lock rings and all the case trimming equipment, o-give etc.
Hornady dies are some of the most accurate dies I have ever loaded with. Hornady's quality control must be top notch. I have never had a set of their dies that had burs, nicks or any defects in workmanship. For the options these dies come with, you would expect to pay twice as much.
If your just getting into hand loading, or want a better set of dies, give these a shot.
