There are many different types of case lube on the market today, nothing compares to the Hornady One shot. I would put money down in Vegas, that 1 in every 5 hand loads, has a can of Hornady One Shot on their bench.
I have used almost every brand and type of case lube there is. Most are either too greasy, or to thin to make a difference when loading. Others require a pad and tube of grease, having you roll the case around on the pad. I have never been able to balance out the right amount of lube when using the pad and tube method. Too many stuck cases made me look for something different.
One of the biggest points of this lube is the delivery method. The spray can puts a nice even amount of film over each case. Just a light coating is perfect to run these through steel dies. No mess afterwards and nothing to clean up. The One Shot will not break down primers or powder either. I use the One Shot on my handgun cases when using Carbide dies as well. It creates less friction when loading with a progressive press.
If your new to hand loading or just looking for something different. Save your time and money, and just go with One Shot. Its cheap, easy to use and works great.
