Hornady® LEVERevolution™ Rifle Centerfire Ammo
Used this ammo in my Magnum Research BFR 45/70 pistol. Mainly bought this ammo because of the weight and speed of the bullet. I wanted a lighter, faster load with less recoil for the pistol. In my rifle I use the heaver 430 grain load (different manufacture) which is a little slower but has more stopping power. I also found out that Marlin recommends a different extractor to use this ammo in their rifle so I won't be doing that. Very accurate in my pistol with 5 kill shots (1 bullseye) right out of the box. I'll just have to carry 2 different loads and keep separate.

It's More Like a Revolution!!!
Absolutely amazing, Accurate at 150 yards like you won't believe. Site em in at 100 and shoot out to200+. I shoot the 45-70's and now I have one gun for deer all the way up to bear. Thanks Hornady

I use this ammo in a Henry .357 lever action rifle and in a Smith and Wesson .357 revolver. Works well in both. Nice to have same ammo for both rifle and sidearm.

Not good so far
I recently purchased a box of leverevolution ammo in 44 mag for my new Marlin 1894. I bought it cause I have used the same ammo in my Marlin 30-30 with great results. Once I recieved my ammo I loaded my new rifle, slid the action open, and the 44 ammo will not slide into the barrel. I have tried everything I can think of, to no prevail. The only way I can get the ammo to load is to hand load it into the barrel, one at a time. It kinda defeats the purpose of having a lever gun. I am sure they shoot good (haven't tried yet) but kinda dissappointed they won't load properly.
