Hornady GS-1500 Grain Electronic Scale
Great scale for the money
I bought this scale for the name and the price. I couldn't be more happy with it. It's very easy to use and functions just the way it should. If something were to ever happen to this one I would buy another no questions asked.

Getting use to it
I done a little reloading before in the past. I used RCBS 505 scales. These are very good, I just thought that I would try the electronic scale to see how much better they are than the older 505 I was using. I have to get use to them. Because I was testing to see which load I was going to use, and was trying to put 5.0 gr of bullseye for a test run. Well the scale said I had to much so I took some out. After it weighed it again, it said I had more than I did the first time. Not sure how that happened since I know I took it out. Its just something I have to get use to using and sure it will work great once I figure it out.

Turns off to soon!
This scale works great & is accurate when compared to other scales. When reloading I weigh the charge, remove pan from scales to trickle to a tenth grain, reweigh the charge, dump powder in case & seat the bullet. Then because the scales has turned off (to save the batterys I guess) I have to turn it back on & recalabrate it to load the next case. This is done almost every time. If it would stay on longer or if I could adjust the "turn-off" time I would give it 5 stars.

returned scale for refund
I bought this scale thinking it would be a faster than the balance beam RCBS. It was faster displaying a weight but I found it couldn't be trusted. I had to recalibrate it about every 3 charges making it a longer process. So I returned it and got my money back. I should have expected that for $40.
