Solid Performing ammo This ammo works very well in my .357 ruger, model SP 101 revolver. Overall power and accuracy are as described by the manufacturer. That is a must for where I currently live along the South Texas/Mexico Border. This is the ammo that I carry in all my concealed carry/personal defense handguns. Good buy! August 29, 2011
A Wonderful Buying Experience ! I have recently made two separate purchases of ammunition through BassProShops. Prices were the best in the marketplace. The transaction was seamless. Delivery was swift. I am delighted, and will most certainly conduct more business with this fine Online retailer. J. Dreher Hickory, NC June 13, 2011
Defense rounds I have had a hard time finding pistol ammo due to the right to carry law change in our state. Exactly what I have been trying to get. Bass Pro is a great, dependable supplier of the needs of a true sportsman. February 23, 2011
Great Ammo I carry this in my M&P 40 compact daily. Cycles fine and is as accurate as I am able to shoot. I have no complaints about this ammo at all. Will be adding it for my 9mm and .45 soon as well. July 5, 2011

A:
When I hike in the woods, I carry my .45acp, but I wouldn't go buy a .45acp if I had a .357 mag. Just load it with the hottest ammo you can find. I don't know KY laws, but if you shoot a black bear in TN out of season you got a whole mess of trouble. Look up your state regs and call your local game warden and ask him to come to your property and show you how to bear proof it.

A:
The 45 ACP was originaly designed for the military in 1911 for Knock Down power. However 100 years later the 357 mag will do the same job. I carry a Ruger GP100 (357 mag and .38) when in deep woods without a rifle.

A:
I carry a S&W Bodyguard .38 revolver. It's only 14 ounces, hamerless and easy pocket size. I wouldn't worry about the number of rounds the 380 holds. The FIRST shot better do the job.
