Excellent 00. Very tight patterns with no stray. While there may be lighter recoiling home defense shells (reduced recoil Federal Tactical or Hornady TAP), the recoil of these shells are manageable. After shooting 100+ shells, not a single issue with feeding or ejection with Remington 870 or Versa Max. No shell deformation with keeping a loaded magazine tube for extended periods of time (4 months). Muzzle flash at low light/night is better than any other defensive shell I have tried. I would trust my life to these shells.

Lately i have been on a 12g ammo buying spree stocking up for my spring shoot off, i bought a few boxes of these and i am not too happy with them. After buying any type of ammo i always inspect it before shooting or storing it, upon inspection i noticed the shells are shorter than normal leading to ejection issues in a pump or semi auto shotgun. Would be good for a break barrel type gun! Also the buck shot in these shells are not as heavy/effective as the Remington 00 buckshot rounds, i think the quality went into the look of these rounds instead of the performance...
