Needed to pull about 150 bullets that were loaded for 223 and wouldn't fit 5.56Nato. The Hornady collet worked fine and I liked the fact it was sold out everywhere but BassPro had itin stock.

This is a great product. Works well with the bullet puller. I feel that it's a little to high priced and would have bought more calibers if they would have been less expensive.

I have been using the Cam lock bullet puller for over 4 years now. This puller along with the collets is hands down the best puller on the market.
Hornady makes one for just about every caliber around. I load some wildcat rounds, and they make one for them as well.
Extra Collets are priced very reasonable compared to other brands. I have one for every caliber I load. Hammer type or inertia type pullers are cheap and dangerous. The collet type is very safe.
Packaging was great on the collets. I store my collets on a peg board and use them all the time. Some collets are over 4 years old. The packaging and the collet are all in perfect shape. I clean mine after every use. I just run a 45 caliber nylon brush down the inside, cleaning off all the dirt and grime, and wipe down with an oil soaked rag.
If your just getting into hand loading or a veteran, these collets along with the Hornady bullet puller are a must to fix your mistakes, save or re-use components or just deactivate a live round.
