Hoppe's number nine works better. I used the Elite to clean my 22/45 til the patches ran clean then redid it with number nine and still got dirt.

Cleans as good or better than any cleaner out there in this price range. Where this cleaner excells above others is:
1) no strong odors. Great for hunting guns.
2) Neat spray application, no drips into the works.
