Clean your gun fast with this quality BoreSnake cleaning kit from the gun cleaning professionals at Hoppe's. This kit combines the easy-clean BoreSnake, Elite Gun Oil, and Elite Gun Cleaner in a soft-sided case that straps easily on a belt. The BoreSnake cleans guns fast by combining all the steps of a quality gun cleaning into one pass. A brass weight on the pull cord slips easily through the barrel to your hand to start the BoreSnake through. Its First Floss cleans loose particles ahead of the phosphor bronze short brushes built into the floss to remove hardened residue in the barrel. The rest of the bore snake, or Main Floss, follows, providing 160 times the cleaning surface area of a normal cleaning patch. This intelligent design makes cleaning your favorite gun quick and easy and a great match for the quick clean-and-protect Elite Gun Cleaner and Elite Gun Oil. Hoppe's Elite Gun Cleaner penetrates your gun's steel on the molecular level to loosen and remove carbon and fouling leftover from shooting. The Elite Gun Oil uses super slick technology to eliminate puddling and create a micro-fine layer of oil over the gun's surface the first time through.

I use one with various BoreSnakes ranging from .22LR to .30-06, the carry pouch has a belt loop which comes in handy for range use.

I own ruger 10-22 ,a Taurus Judge 410-45long colt, also a 243 cal deer rifle . How many boresnakes do I need //Answers
A:Â
Remember many caliber/gauges share the same diameter. Such as .410 gauge is the same diameter as=45-70, .45acp, .45 long colt, .45 Russian, and etc. Use your reloading guide to figure out which of your guns share the same diameter and buy a Boresnake that will accommodate your longest barrel in that diameter. I never by the pistol length Boresnake. I always get the equivalent diameter in the rifle length, which covers all my weapons sharing that diameter. Plus, one pull of a rifle length "snake" through your pistol's barrel and your done.A:Â
Just bought a BS and they are sold by caliber or gauge. The metal tag at the end of the snake has the size/gauge on it. Since a bronze brush is built in to the snake, they will only work for the caliber it is designed to fit. You would need 3, one for each weapon.1 of 1
