Hoppe's Elite Gun Oil is a new product for me.I had a bunch of the old Hoppe's Gun Oil from my gunsmithing days in the 70's and 80's.Couldn't ask for better product. You like to stay with what you know works the best. I stand by that Hoppe's is the best product on the market. Hoppe's is the best gun oil for all types of firearms including black powder. I also use the Hoppe's Elite Gun Oil on my compound bow cams, release and my fall away arrow rest. It prevents freeze up and helps my speed and allows for a quite and smooth releases.

I llike this gun oil because it works very well, and it comes in a easy to use bottle. One bottle last a long time because, a little oil goes a long way.

I have been a fan of Hoppe's various products for more than 50 years...my Dad got me started on their cleaning solvent - #9 - as a boy. This fully synthetic, milspec lubricant is all I now use on all my fine o/u skeet and shooting clay firearms and semi-auto pistols. It flows well, never gets "gummy", and is impervious to temperature extremes. I put a very light coat on all metal surfaces when storing my guns as well as for internal lubrication. It stands up well in our very humid SC weather. I also use it on all my fishing reels for gears and bails. Great stuff and worth every penny!
