Considering Hoppe's 9 has been around for only about 110 years now has to say something in itself. One of the best oils I ever use and still have a tin squirter from the 60/70's my father gave me years ago.

Hoppe's Lubricating Oil same as it was 50 years ago when I first began using it - great stuff. The current bottle tops look to be less likely to leak than they were a few years ago.

Great product. Not to thick and not to thin. I have never had it gum up - even in cold weather. Does a great job in keeping moving gun parts moving smoothly. Does a great job in preventing rust. Just what a gun owner needs to keep his investment in good condition.

I like this product because it does not cost an arm and a leg. I aways use a little after I clean my guns and I never get any build up.
