Hook Boat Ladder
while out fishing my grand daughter likes to take a swim break. This year she is just to big to lift in the boat, and an adult has a very hard time getting back in the boat. This ladder works great, my son and I used it also , were both at about 200 lbs. Does not mark up the boat, stores easy, and a good buy.

Must Be Modified
This was supposed to fit a Bass Boat, but it won't work on my 18 foot aluminum Bass Tracker. The horizontal supports are much too low and too short and will need to be modified

Emergency only maybe
I bought this during the off season and never tried to use it until around June. The hooks have the ladder so far out at the top, it is almost useless. They would need about ten inch supports on the bottom to compensate for the hooks and the angle of the boat sides. I can't imagine what sort of boat this would be good for.

Works in a pinch
The ladder has a 250 pound weight rating which severely over rated. I broke both the support legs first time out (yes it was used properly) and I weigh 180 pounds. It would be a much better ladder if the support legs were also aluminum with 4-8 inches more adjustment instead of plastic. It will work in a pinch or life and death situation but don't count on it holding up too long.
