I love this sight. As soon as I mounted it, it was dead on, I used the largest pin it came with on the end, I took several turkeys with this setup, but with shooting a mossberg 500 pump, with 3.5" nitro turkey loads you might want to put a few drops of super glue under the front mount and be careful not to strip out the screw hole, I've had to retap a few holes for a couple of people after they stripped there mount threads, but overall the best turkey sight I've ever owned, I love it more than the red dot I've used for years,

Followed advise given in previous review and used super glue on front sight. Sighted it in. Killed a gobbler the next morning at 40 yards using it. If made completely out of metal would have given it a 5.

I bought this sight for my two boys to help them stay down on the barrel when they shoot at a turkey. Last year they had a miss and wounded turkey. I am glad to say that they both got a turkey this year in Ohio and it was my youngest son's first turkey. This sight helped them stay down on the gun and focus on the turkey's head. Can't wait to start hunting in PA.

It works ok, I mean Im not blown away by it. It is designed for a gun with a removable front pin. The 1187 I mounted it on, has a pressed pin. I missed where it said that. After a ten dollar bottle of glue, it's on the gun. We'll see how long it stays on there.
