Hi-Tec® Altitude IV Waterproof Hiking Boots for Men
THESE BOOTS ARE VERY COMFORTABLE, LIGHT WEIGHT, BUT DEFINITELY NOT WATERPROOF. I WORK ON CONCRETE FLOORS THAT ARE WET, AND I DEAL WITH WASH DOWN, SO MY BOOTS RECEIVE A SPRAY AT LEAST EVERY HOUR.

I really like the way they broke in as I hiked the Grand Canyon over the course of a few days. They were comfortable and supportive. They neither gave me issues nor blisters. They run a little bit big, which is good because my toes never jammed into the front of the boot hiking downhill. I am quite satisfied after my first usage.

Good overall purchase
I bought these boots to be more of a "camp boot", because I wear my snake boots most of the time when I'm in the field. They have been excellent boots so far, and I've even worn them out in the field a few times. Provides great ankle support and overall comfort.
**You will need to break them in! - I wore them for about 2 1/2 hours at a picnic and that was all that I could handle. Because they provide such great support my ankles were sore after the first time I wore them. I wore them a second time and they were much better. By the third time I wore them they were as comfortable as any boot I've ever owned. I would definitely recommend them!

"I got these boots last summer for light hiking and backpacking. They were comfortable at first even under backpacking loads, but a few weeks ago the right boot started bruising my heel. I did like these boots a lot at first, but I only had them a short time before they started to fail me. I will not rebuy"
