Easy to use, safe, and reliable, the single shot Henry Mini Bolt .22LR Youth Rifle is an ideal first gun for young shooters and beginners. The Official Youth Rifle of the USA Olympic Shooting Team, the Mini Bolt is proportioned for small-framed shooters. Weighing in at a feather-light 3.25 lbs., kids won't mind toting it to the range or in the woods. This European-style bolt action rifle offers quality sights rarely found in youth rifles with the high visibility Williams Fire Sights—an illuminated two green dot adjustable rear sight and a contrasting red front sight—that allow for a simple, consistent sight picture. The great-looking 16.25'' stainless steel barrel and lever are matched with a tough one-piece synthetic stock, and the beavertail forearm ensures a comfortable and firm grip. To maximize safety, the manually operated thumb safety switch prevents the rifle from firing when set, even when cocked. Made in USA.

Good Starter My grandpa lent me this little .22 to play around with and its a blast. Almost no kick to speak of (was even shooting it one handed). if you plan on going to the range for an all day excursion then you better have patience cause loading one bullet and ejecting it one at a time is a bit tedious but to be honest i thought it added some fun to it. However i should mention that when i first received it from him the sights were so far off that i could barely hit the target from 20-30 yards let alone get a grouping. not to sure if he tried "modifying it" or if thats the way it came. put a little red dot on it or get it properly sighted and you got a pretty slick .22 for youngsters or just to play around. okay its an okay gun the accuracy is okay on the gun no kick just a little one the gun is abit slow good for rabbit and fox though I would not prefer this gun for big game its nice material and the ejecting pin bends a lot DO NOT USE SPREAD SHOT/SNAKE SHOT it will bend the ejecting pin then it wont eject the shells so no long bullets but still a great little gun its okay for the price though.
