Henry's popular lever-action rifle line continues with this octagon barrel Frontier model. This rifle's features include the prominent octagon barrel, a Marble's fully adjustable rear sight and a raised blade front sight. The octagon barrel is designed to help repel heat and reduce the barrel temperature after repeated shooting. The steel barrel and action are blued. A metal barrel band secures the barrel to walnut forend. This Henry rifle also has a hand finished walnut stock and the top of the action is grooved to add a riflescope. An icon of the West that will find favor with many shooters and collectors.

I purchased the Henry Lever-Action Octagon Frontier over 2 months ago and have been very pleased. It is one fun rifle to shoot. It has a very smooth action and I have been very impressed with its accuracy(mostly less than 50 yards at this time). My family and friends have enjoyed shooting it as well. I would highly recommend this rifle. Its easy to load, easy to clean, and fun to shoot.

I bought the Frontier model ( the round barrel model seemed to short for me) I was blown away with quality of this gun, action was smooth as silk, I'm still sighting it in as I put a scope on, but at 50yds I was doing 2in groups, just have to fine tune it Can't wait to take it squirrel hunting!!!!! BUY THIS GUN!! you won't regret it. Plus it's made in the USA.

Bought one of these recently to shoot for fun. Could not hit a 4" circle at 50 yards. Found that front sight moved in it's groove as the gun was shot and made it impossible to sight in. I called Henry about the problem, they want it back to repair the gun. I think that is pretty lame as I bought a new American quality gun, but will end up with a repaired item. Never again for Henry. Now I wished I had went with Marlin or CZ. Oh well, it's just money, right. I will see what happens from their repair job before getting too much of an attitude. By the way, it will take a month for the repair and shipping to and from...bummer.
