My wife purchased this rifle for me Christmas 2011 along with the personalized receiver. The workmanship of this rifle is great. The receiver was a little tricky but I got it installed. At the same time I installed the oversize lever. I have shot it a few times and it shoots great. The only negative remark I have is that the scope mount from Henry puts the scope too high. Since I received this rifle I have purchased 7 more Henrys and want three more.if you are looking for a great rifle look no farther than a Henry.

I know you have to use a cantilever scope mount for these rifles. I heard the old models you had to have them drilled & tapped yourself but the new models came already drilled & tapped. Is that correct?Answers
